WHAT IS VIDEOS ON DEMAND (VOD)?
Why should I sign up / join?
Videos on demand (VOD) is available free of charge to Red Hot and Ultimate Package subscribers and delivers full-strength HARDCORE. VOD offers the uncut and uncensored versions of all your favourite Sky programmes. If you don’t have Sky, you can subscribe directly to the Red Hot VOD service for full access to our online services. There are a variety of offers packages on offer ranging from 24 hour access right up to yearly subscription packages. Please click here to view them all.
How do I sign up / join?
As Sky user you will be asked to fill in a form to create your account. This will require you insert your name, address, username and password and your Sky Card Number. This is a once only process - after that you will only need to sign in using your username and password. Web only members will have to fill in the virtually the same form, but instead of filling in your Sky Card details you will required to fill in your credit / debit card details.
Can I try before I buy?
No, however on the web sales site there are edited clips of shows that are on the website to give you, the user, a clear indication of the kind of content you should expect.
Is there a limit on the amount of content I can watch within any given period?
No, once you have activated your membership by entering your Sky card or debit / credit card details you can access all the video content available on our VOD service. We do not charge by the minute nor do we restrict you to purchasing movie tickets for a single film or programme.
How often is new content uploaded to the site?
New video content is uploaded to our VOD service every day and programming is rotated on a weekly basis.
Can I download videos from Web TV?
No. Currently our VOD service only offers the facility to watch streamed video content.
Can I upload my own content?
At present you cannot upload your own content. However, our VOD service will shortly be offering you the facility to upload and share your home movies with the world. Please bear in mind that this content will be moderated by our web team before being made publicly available.
If I subscribe to the VOD service, do I get free access to the TV channels?
No, TV subscribers get free access to the VOD service, but it does not work the other way round. For more information about our TV subscription packages visit www.redhottv.co.uk website.
TV SUBSCRIBERS
I’ve already subscribed to the TV channels, do I need to sign up to the website?
If you wish to view the hardcore content on the Red Hot website you will need to fill in the 'create an account' form on the sign up page and provide your Sky Card number. This is a once only process, after that you will only need to sign in with your username and password.
I’m a Television X subscriber, do I get free access to Red Hot Web TV?
No, only Ultimate Package subscribers have free access to both Television X VOD service and Red Hot VOD Service. You can upgrade your TV subscription by calling 0871 271 6869. Alternatively membership of Red Hot VOD service as a standalone online service costs £4.99 for 24 hours or £9.99 monthly access, £24.99 for 3 months, £44.99 for 6 months and £84.99 for yearly access.
I’m a Red Hot Pay Per Night Customer, do I get free access to Red Hot VOD service?
No, only Ultimate Package subscribers have free access to both Television X VOD service and Red Hot VOD service. You can upgrade your TV subscription by calling 0871 271 6869.
I subscribe to the Red Hot on Freeview, do I get free access to the VOD service?
Apologies, free access to VOD service is not currently available to customers who subscribe to Red Hot via Freeview. Please check back as we intend to offer free VOD service access to all Freeview customers soon.
I’m a TV subscriber, do I need to enter my credit card details to access Web TV?
If you have an active subscription via Sky to our TV channels, then you will be able to access the VOD service or services which correspond to subscription simply by entering your Sky card details once you have created a free online user account. You are not required to enter your debit / credit card details for verification purposes.

What debit / credit cards do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch/Maestro, Solo and Electron.
If I pay for VOD service with a debit / credit card, what company name will appear on my statement?
The name of RHF, our payment service provider, will appear on your statement.
Is my online debit / credit card payment secure?
Yes your card details are processed in a secure environment. When you the access the credit card payment page, you will notice that the web address begins with https rather than http and that a small padlock appears in the bottom right hand corner of your browser.
REGISTRATION / ACTIVATION PROBLEMS
I don’t seem to be receiving any emails from Web TV?
The emails we are sending you are probably being flagged as spam or filed to your junk mail folder. To avoid this happening, add to your address book or buddy list.
I’ve forgotten my username / password, what should I do?
If you’ve forgotten your password or username, go to sign in as normal, however where you are asked to fill in your username and password, underneath you will notice 'Forgot your username / password?'. Click on that link, enter your email address and your details will be emailed to you straight away. If the problem still remains please email support@redhothard.com for further assistance.
My username and password don’t work. What should I do?
Please use the retrieve your username / password link as described above to check if they are correct. If that does not fix the problem please email in to support@redhothard.com for further assistance. In the email please include the email you signed up with, your first name, surname and what you think your username and passwords are as this will help speed up the process of addressing the issues concerning your account.
I have entered my Sky card number, postcode and surname but the site says my email address does not match?
This is a security measure designed to verify that you are who you say you are. It also allows us to ensure we have your correct email address for administrative purposes. Obviously your details will not match if you have never given your email address to Sky. Please enter your CSN number (Sky Customer Service Number) to update your email address.
The site keeps asking for my CSN number (Sky Customer Service Number), what is this and where do I find it?
Your CSN number (Sky Customer Service Number) is your Sky Customer Service Number which is given to you in your welcome letter. If for any reason you don’t know your CSN (Sky Customer Service Number), call 08700 500 994 and customer services will advise you of this.
I have entered my Sky card number, postcode and surname but the site says my details don’t does not match?
This is a security measure designed to verify that you are who you say you are. It also allows us to ensure we have your correct details for administrative purposes. It could be that your name is misspelled in our database or that there’s a typo in your postcode. If you get this message and you can go no further, call our Web TV customer support line on 08700 500 994 to verify your account details. Sky are also reissuing all their Sky cards. Please ensure you have the most up to date card in your machine.
I live in the Republic Of Ireland and don’t have a postcode. I can’t activate my account, what should I do?
If you live in the Republic Of Ireland, when you are asked to enter your Sky card details, enter ROI in the postcode field.
I’ve already signed up for Red Hot VOD service; can I use the same username / password to log into Television X Web TV?
No, you will need to create a separate online user account for each website.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Do I need broadband to watch VOD service?
Yes, VOD services require a broadband internet connection for optimum video playback. If you are having issues streaming please check with your ISP provider as well. Many of the companies limit the amount you can stream. This is called 'Packet Shaping' and will prevent you from having the service one might expect.
Do I need any specific software installed on my PC to watch VOD service?
VOD is compatible with all major browsers and has been tested extensively with the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. To view our video streams, you will need to install Adobe Flash Player for Windows. This is available as a free download from the Adobe website.
VIDEO / AUDIO PLAYBACK PROBLEMS
I’m having problems with video / audio playback?
If you are experiencing any problems viewing our video streams, make sure you have the most up-to-date version of Adobe Flash Player for Windows – currently Version 9 – installed on your PC. This is available as a free download from the Adobe website.
What happens if I have paid but I cannot access the hardcore video content?

MY SUBSCRIPTION
I subscribed for 24 hours, how can I tell when my subscription runs out?
Log in, go to My Account and you will be told then exactly when your access to the site will expire.
Why does My Subscriptions say no active subscriptions when I am an Ultimate Package / Red Hot subscriber?
My Subscriptions currently only reflects the status of your online account (i.e. whether you have paid to access the website.) We are working to improve the functionality of the site so that it acknowledges your TV subscription package. Please bear with us. However this should not prevent you from accessing our premium hardcore content free of charge.

Yes, when you sign up, make sure you uncheck the box where it says ‘Do you wish to receive emails from Red Hot?
You keep sending me promotional emails, how do I unsubscribe from future mailings?
At the bottom of the email is an unsubscribe link. Please click on and follow the instructions.
I’ve changed my email address, how do I update it?
To update your email address, login to the website, click on My Account. From there you alter any of your details.
Can I update the password you sent me to something I can remember?
To update your password, login to the website, click on My Account once again on the My Account page is the functionality to change your password.
CANCELLATION
How do I cancel my monthly subscription to Web TV?
To cancel your monthly subscription, send an email to with the word CANCELLATION in the subject line. Cancellation requires 28 days notice so a final payment may be taken during this period. If you wish to cancel your TV subscription, call 0871 271 4554. If you are a new subscriber (since the beginning of July 2009) you can cancel your account through the My Account section.
